Description

The 2017 Grant Burge 5th Generation Sauvignon Blanc is very pale, platinum with green tinges in colour. The bouquet displays intense aromas of tropical fruits like passionfruit, guava, pineapple, accented with sweet floral top-notes and herbaceous lift of Kaffir Lime and sweet basil. The richly flavoured palate is incredibly vibrant with sweet tropical flavours of passionfruit and pineapple, complemented by gooseberry, lychee and sweet basil. This fresh and zesty palate finishes with the mouth-watering zing of sherbet-like natural acidity. The Grant Burge 5th Generation Sauvignon Blanc makes a great accompaniment to fresh Asian cuisine, such as Green Papaya Salad and Spicy Chicken Pad Thai.
